So you’re thinking just because Manny is gone, the Red Sox are toast and ripe for the Yankees to catch? Don’t be so sure. Bay certainly isn’t Manny in terms of pure hitting ability, but he’ll hold his own. And he’ll be there for another year at just $7.5 mil, freeing up a bunch of money for the Sox to use in ’09…
