That first book looks very intriguing. Sabermetrics plus 1000 minor leaguers sounds like fun.

P.S. – I have a pretty bold prediction: the San Jose Giants will win 2009 “Team of the Year”. I discuss more on my blog, but I think you may have an idea why already.
