Kolbrin Vitek (BOS, No. 9): Returned to the disabled list, retroactive to August 4.
Keyvius Sampson (SD, No. 8): Placed on the DL on August 5, with back stiffness.
Andrew Romine (LAA, No. 8): Returned to Triple-A Salt Lake on August 6 after his third stint in the Majors this year.
Glynn Davis (BAL, No. 8): Returned to Class A Delmarva on August 7.
Charlie Leesman (CWS, No. 10): Returned on August 7, after a week on the DL.
Bruce Rondon (DET, No. 4): Promoted to Triple-A Toledo on August 7.
Christian Colon (KC, No. 10): Promoted to Triple-A Omaha on August 7.
Logan Schafer (MIL, No. 8): Returned to action on August 7, after missing time with a sore knee.
Jedd Gyorko (SD, No. 4): Placed on the DL on August 8, with a sore left ankle.
Yordano Ventura (KC, No. 11): Placed on the DL on August 8, with minor carpal tunnel in his right hand.
Casey Kelly (SD, No. 1): Joined Double-A San Antonio on August 9, on a rehab assignment to recover from a strained right elbow ligament.
Xander Bogaerts (BOS, No. 2): Promoted to Double-A Portland on August 9.
Billy Bullock (ATL, No. 16): Sent back to Double-A Mississippi on August 9, after posting an 11.07 ERA over 20+ innings in Triple-A.
Manny Machado (BAL, No. 1): Made his Major League debut on August 9, after a surprise callup.
George Springer (HOU, No. 3): Promoted to Double-A Corpus Christi on August 9.
John Gast (STL, No. 8): Placed on the DL on August 10.
Delino DeShields Jr. (HOU, No. 10): Promoted to Class A Advanced Lancaster on August 10.
Ryan Jackson (STL, No. 17): Made his Major League debut on August 11.
